Handspun Shetland Wool - Naturally Colored - Worsted Weight

This is a nice lofty yarn for those who love that amazing wooly squish!

I purchased this wool as mill processed roving in natuaral gray and black and blended them together on my drum carded before spinning for this unique contrasting yarn. It is made with undyed, 100% Shetland wool.

This is a single ply worsted weight yarn with an average of 10 WPI. Being handspun, there are occasional spots that measure closer to 11 WPI. Personally, I think the very slight imperfection is the major appeal of working with handspun yarns and creating one of a kind finished pieces.

If you purchase both skeins for a single project, I just recommend alternating from one skein to the other every few rows as they could vary slightly in color and this will give you a more uniform look in your project.
