"Not a moment of life is wasted on a farm. Others may have been more places, but haven't outlived me."Jim Fisher
Hello and thanks so much for visiting my little corner of the internet!
My spinning story began with me sitting down in front of a new Kromski Polonaise spinning wheel with a 1 pound bag of undyed Merino roving next to me and absolutely no idea what I was doing. I couldn't knit, I didn't know how to crochet or weave. All I knew was that the process of taking wool from an animal and creating something with it completely by hand was fascinating and I wanted to be a part of it.
My husband and I have always dreamed of owning lots of land and animals. My interest in spinning grew when I started exploring ways that I could financially help my little family while I was a stay at home mom, and use our passions to do so.
Little did I know that I would not only enjoy it, but I would become completely obsessed with this whole new world of fiber! It wasn't long after opening my shop that I decided I needed to learn how to crochet. After that I started processing wool on my own, then I started knitting and before I knew it I even had my own large heddle loom! I'm constantly striving to learn new things about fiber art and shepherding. Currently, our fiber flock consists of 5 beautiful Jacob sheep and a French Angora rabbit.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you so much for your business!
