Mulberries - Handspun Merino Wool Yarn

This 2 ply handspun yarns made with 21.5 micron (that means it's super soft!) Merino wool that I hand painted before spinning. The color changes in this yarn are random and each skein will work up a little differently.

When I was young, I spent many summer hours sitting in a huge mulberry tree on my grandparent's farm, eating as many mulberries as I could reach. The colors in this yarn remind me of all the different shades the berries progress through before they reach the ripe deep purple. This yarn is a heavier worsted weight and I think it would make a gorgeous knit project, soft enough to be warn against the skin.
