If you've never used alpaca yarns you are really missing out! This super bulky handspun is so dreamy soft! Grown by a lovely alpaca in Texas named Faline, it's naturally colored gorgeous shades of oatmeal.

I spun this yarn straight from the fleece, without carding or combing, which gave the finished yarn some subtle texture throughout. I think it would knit up beautifully or make a great addition to your next weaving project!

The fleece was very clean so although you may find a few tiny pieces of vegetable matter* here and there, it is very minimal and still soft enough for against the skin projects.

* (Vegetable matter is what we call any tiny pieces of hay or grass that the animals have gotten into. I do my very best to remove as much as possible but sometimes is still sneaks through when I process a raw fleece by hand.)
