A classic, vintage inspired beauty. Designed for my Roxie girl, who is moving up from the crib to her very own big girl bed. This Blanket is made up of 35 squares which are seamlessly joined, and finished with a border worked in the round. The unique 'bead stitch' of the squares creates a lovely eye-catching and cozy thick blanket. It's the perfect size for comforting a little one in their new bed. Larger than their old baby blankets but not quite the full bulky size of a quilt. The pattern is also easy to customize in size by making more or less squares. This blanket is so beautiful when finished, it can easily become a family heirloom much like the name it was given.

The 9-page pattern is written directions in English using standard US crochet terms. It also includes many step-by-step photos illustrating more complicated steps.

The crochet pattern is intermediate level.

Supplies needed include:
Big Twist Value Yarn - by JoAnn Fabrics in colors Mustard (2 skeins), Ivory (2 skeins), Wine (1 skein), and Seige (1 skein)
Crochet Hook - Size US J 10 (6 mm)
Yarn Needle for weaving in ends.
